About The Show

Dance with Peter is a Reality TV dance show that is set to change the generally accepted perspective of dance.
The vision, conceived out of the need to redefine dance and its competitiveness, brings on board Peter Okoye of the multiple award winning R&B music duo P-square, an experienced dancer who already serves as a role model to many Nigerian youths with strong desires to emulate him.
Dance with Peter, thrilling and at the same time engaging, is the first Dance Reality TV show to abrogate the normal humdrum of dance competition as seen on TV. The TV show brings into existence a novel dimension to dancing, its rudiments, the intrigues of competitiveness and an exciting display of talents.
The show witnesses Peter Okoye making his debut as a judge/mentor in Reality TV series. Dance Queen Kaffy, Flex and an international superstar guest will subordinate him.
Note: This competition is open to solos, duets and groups of four (4) from different dance backgrounds for the auditions. However, contestants will be selected as individual performers as they will be mentored in the house as such. This serves as an opportunity to showcase yourself as an individual and go through a rigorous process of mentoring, training and coaching in dance.

    Abuja is the capital of Nigeria. It is located in the centre of Nigeria, within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which was built mainly in the 1980s, with a population of 776,298
    Abuja is home to Nigerians from all regions and is known to be the centre of all affluence and rich in the culture of art and entertainment.
    Abuja celebrates Dance in form of several festivals, carnivals and even in the Abuja night life.
    The first round of auditions hold in Abuja.

    Accra is the capital and largest city of Ghana, with an estimated urban population of 2.27 million. It is also the capital of the Greater Accra Region and of the Accra Metropolitan District.
    Accra has a wide variety of dance culture, with a strong desire to broaden their scope of already rich culture.
    As a buzzing centre of art and entertainment, it has seen the rise to prominence of young and valuable talents, giving them an environment to fully explore their potentials.
    The 2nd round of auditions will hold in Accra, Ghana.

    Benin City is the capital of Edo State in southern Nigeria, approximately 25 miles (north of the Benin River with a population of 1,147,188.
    The Binis are known for bronze sculpture, its casting skills and their arts and craft. Various festivals are held in Benin City yearly to celebrate various historic occasions and seasons.
    Benin City is rich in cultural heritage and ancient historical landmarks, which has become a year-round tourist attraction.
    The 3rd round of auditions take place in Benin City.

    Lagos is the most populous city in Nigeria, the second fastest-growing city in Africa and seventh in the world with a population of 17,552,940.
    Lagos is generally appreciated for its vast culture in entertainment, from music to dance and drama. Always ready for a challenge, Lagos is a home to all types of talent, with an environment that recognises and encourages real and undiluted talent.
    Several dance festivals, carnivals and events have emanated from this city, giving a wide spread realization of how dance connects the people to their roots and culture even in contemporary age, regardless of tribe or ethnic difference.
    The 4th audition holds in Lagos.
  • Port Harcourt

    Port Harcourt is the capital city of Rivers, located in the Niger Delta with a population of 1,382,592.
    Asides from being the oil capital, Port Harcourt is also known for its vibrant entertainment scene.
    Majority of popular dance groups and organisation in Nigeria originated from Port Harcourt with a well-grounded knowledge in contemporary and traditional dance ethic of the African people.
    The 5th and final round of auditions will hold in Port-Harcourt City, Rivers State.

Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye, Dance Nigeria JudgesPeter Okoye is one half of the biggest singing duo and multiple award winning artistes in Africa, P-Square.
The duo who has won over a dozen awards locally and internationally, started their music career when they joined the music and drama club at the St. Murumba secondary school, a small Catholic school in Jos. At the time, the duo sang, danced to, and mimicked songs by MC Hammer, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson.
In 2001, "P-Square" won the "Grab Da Mic" competition, and got sponsorship from Benson & Hedges for their debut album titled Last Night.
P-Square who is not only known for their singing abilities has also created a niche for themselves through their precise and well articulated dance steps and performances.
Peter Okoye is an epitome of professionalism as an artiste and a dancer. He is an endearing icon and role model to youths, most especially upcoming dancers who wish to emulate him.


Kaffy, Dance Nigeria JudgesKafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly addressed as Kaffy, is a talented choreographer and a Guinness World Record holder.
She is the C.E.O of Imagneto Dance Company, a Fitness Coach, Youth motivator and a Dance Choreographer. Kaffy who is known for her energy and work ethic, is dedicated to helping youth and women find ways to empower themselves by giving them opportunities to dig into themselves and discover the greatness in them. She has served as judge on different reality TV shows.


DonFlex, Dance Nigeria Judges Nonso Asobe Cajetan a.k.a DONFlexx popularly known as Flexx started in the entertainment industry as a professional Choreographer and Dancer, keeping it real for decades in this profession.
Flexx who has worked with various artists both locally and internationally is currently the Chief Choreographer of the P-Square Group and is achieving a lot in terms of stage concept performances for the duo including their much acclaimed INVASION Album concert.
DonFlexx is the CEO of Extigate Entertainment – an Artist management, Dance and Event Management Company.


Ehis, Dance Nigeria Judges Ehiz, a computer science graduate of Lead City made himself popular when he won the MTV Base Nigeria VJ search.
He started hosting social events right from his secondary school days, he hosted events like social nights, end of the year parties, school dance and several other social related events.
